2024-02 Shopify API upgrade v2024-01

Starting Monday, February 12th, 2024, Data Integration’s Shopify integration will undergo an upgrade to leverage the latest API version - Shopify API version 2024-01. This update is designed to ensure that your Data Flows remain synchronized with the latest data available from the Shopify data source API.

Changes in API version 2024-01

Order report

Deprecated columns

Columns deprecated in the Order report under the 'Report Fields' field on the Data Flow Source tab:

  • accepts_marketing
  • accepts_marketing_updated_at
  • marketing_opt_in_level

New columns

New columns added in the Order report under the 'Report Fields' field on the Data Flow Source tab:

  • poNumber
  • tax_exempt
  • current_quantity
  • email_marketing_consent

Customer report

Deprecated columns

Columns deprecated in the Customer report under the 'Report Fields' field on the Data Flow Source tab:

  • accepts_marketing
  • accepts_marketing_updated_at
  • marketing_opt_in_level

New columns

  • email_marketing_consent

Draft order report

New columns

New column added in the Draft Order report:

  • poNumber

What actions should you take

  • If you do not take any action, the platform will return null values for deprecated columns.

  • If you want to remove those columns from the Target table, run the Data Flow in Overwrite loading mode.
